Do you know how to take care of your face skin?
Many of us, to this simple question, answer yes, however, we often find ourselves practicing habits that we think are right and perfect for our face, and that do nothing but destroy them. It's true: Sometimes the beauty routine becomes so automatic - and maybe done in a hurry - that it's not uncommon to make mistakes. But skin care is an essential aspect that must be applied daily while taking appropriate precautions, to show the face on top and avoid discomfort, including couperose, enlarged pores, blackheads, redness or classic problems of skin in abundance that is dry, oily or sensitive. Before discovering the things we do most often that we should instead avoid for the sake of our skin,
1. For good skin care you should not use very hot water on your face!
Our face, especially in the morning, needs cool water that helps instantly reduce signs of fatigue and tighten pores. On the contrary, hot water dilates the blood vessels, causing possible redness, and the risk increases if you are prone to acne or rosacea. A good invigorating nod to include in your morning beauty routine? Very simple: place an ice cube wrapped in a soft napkin on your eyelids, and keep it for about two minutes. You will instantly be more comfortable.
2. Did you skip the tonic? Too wrong!
Tonic is an essential product to ensure proper cleansing and moisturizing of our skin. Cleansers alone cannot remove all the make-up or dirt that lurks in our skin, so it is necessary to resort to a tonic that removes any residue, makes the skin perfectly clean and above all, receptive. Any treatment that follows the tonic will be better absorbed by the skin, so it will instantly look more hydrated, smoother, and refreshed.
3. Choose the product that suits your age!
Each era has its own characteristics and needs. If you need to be hydrated at the age of 20, from 30 onwards the problems associated with the hormonal cycle also grow. So, if a moisturizer at the age of twenty is sufficient if you do not have major problems, then from 30 onwards you need to start using a serum, and if the first signs of aging begin to appear, such as small wrinkles, spots and relaxed skin, more creams perform and target. So don't think that a product is as good as another product or that the more recent it is, the more beneficial it is to you, or worse, the more expensive it is, the more effective it is. None of this!
4. You shouldn't be using too many products: Focus on quality, not quantity!
We often mess around a little with products, use a lot of them and take risks. It's best to focus on a few, but specific, products
5. Don't forget the sunscreen in the winter.
There is no sun so there is no need for a cream with SPF, right? Wrong! Especially the aggressive agents of pollution are strong, due to the enhanced combination of ozone in the air and ultraviolet rays, which also affect winter. Indeed, ozone is one of the main oxidizing agents found in smog, while ultraviolet rays penetrate the epidermis (UVB) or dermis (grapes) and stimulate the release of enzymes that degrade tissue. Never go below 20, even when the sky is overcast.
6. Do not use the eye area? Error!
The skin around the eyes is much thinner and weaker than the rest of the face; Skin relaxation and signs of fatigue are initially read directly around the gaze. Therefore our beauty routine should ensure special care for the eye contour through application, in this delicate area, only for specific cosmetics.
